Why I don't like hello world posts
In programming there's a well known concept of a Hello world program which is basically a trivial test program that one writes to check if everything is setup correctly and if further development can be started.
When it comes to starting off a blog or a personal website there's a similar phenomenon that can analogously be called hello world posts. Such posts usually come down to something like
Hi, I am XYZ and welcome to my blog. In the future some interesting things will appear here! What's wrong with that? one would ask. It's fine unless it's the last post on that website ;D
It happened to me once or twice every time I wanted to start writing a blog and after that I usually gave up writing completely. It seems that hello world posts bring me some kind of bad luck and that's why I'm not a fan of them.
Oh no, this post seems to be some kind of a hello world post. Let's hope this place won't end up abandoned as well :)
